We sat down with Dr. Zuri Dale, TSU alumna and Assistant Vice President of Research and Innovation Initiatives & University Epidemiologist, for an inspiring conversation on what it truly means to live without limits. A trained scientist with a Biology degree from Texas Southern University, two Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University, and a Doctoral degree from Mercer University, Dr. Dale is leading impactful work in COVID-19, long COVID, epigenetics, and disease prevention. She serves as Center Director and Principal Investigator of the Center for Transformative Health and Co-Principal Investigator of the TSU Institute of Urban Public Health and Housing Equity. Beyond research, Dr. Dale is a true Renaissance woman. She is the founder of PMU Con, owner of Artistry By Zuri, and creator of the Sensationalist numbing brand, seamlessly blending science, beauty, and entrepreneurship. Her excellence has also been recognized with the SWASAP Texas TRIO Achiever Award. In this Women’s History Month feature, she shares a powerful message for the next generation: you don’t have to choose one path. You can do it all, just do it with excellence.
