UMES hosted its second annual Hawk Con on March 7, 2026, at the Student Services Center - a celebration of art, comics, and pop culture featuring student and professional artists. From digital illustration and commercial design to horror art and anime-inspired work, artists showcased their creativity across the Student Services Center Ballroom and hallways. Attendees explored everything from Star Wars artwork to original manga characters, hand-pressed T-shirts, and interactive displays. Hawk Con brings together UMES students, local artists, and the community for a day of creative expression and inspiration. Whether you're into comics, anime, fine art, or commercial design, there's something for everyone.
