ELMS Fest 2026: Korean Language & Culture Showcase

The ELMS (English, Languages & Media Studies) Fest at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore took place between April 20-23, featuring unique events and activities across campus - with something for everyone. One of the highlights was the Korean Language and Culture Table, hosted by Dr. Hanna Kang and her dedicated students. From traditional games featured in Squid Game to modern Korean hanboks, students shared everything they've been learning about Korean culture, including media, food, music, and traditional attire. Students from various majors stopped by to learn about Korean heritage, try their hand at traditional games, and explore the rich color patterns and designs that carry cultural meaning. If you missed ELMS Fest this year, don't worry. We'll be back next year!
