Posted By: HBCU CONNECT on July 13, 2026 Check out this video from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland! Earlier this spring, more than 100 University of Maryland Eastern students, staff, faculty, and alumni participated in the "100 Women in Heels” march to close out Women's History Month. Led by UMES student leaders Masarrah McDade and Madison Abdus-Sabur, the march brought together students, faculty, staff, and alumni in a powerful (and stylish) display of unity, pride, and purpose! The afternoon featured resource tables, refreshments, and impactful remarks from UMES’ very own Jessica P. Money and Chief of Staff Latoya Jenkins, creating space for connection, reflection, and celebration.
