On Thursday, August 20th, 2026, HBCU CONNECT and Truist — one of the largest financial institutions in the United States — are hosting a free virtual hiring event built around one idea: put our community in direct contact with the people who actually do the hiring.

No resume black hole. No application that disappears into a portal. You will be on the call with Truist recruiters, hearing what they are hiring for right now and asking your questions live.

New This Year: Experienced Professionals Are Invited Too

In past years this event was built for students and recent graduates. That changes in 2026. Truist is bringing both their Early Careers recruiters and their Full-Time Talent Acquisition partners to the same call, which means experienced professionals are in the room for the first time.

Whether you are finishing your degree this year or you already have ten years of experience behind you, there is a reason to be on this call.
