It was supposed to it Tampa really good, but the storm took a turn and it never hit us, thank goodness. There are cities here that don't have water or power, that's messed up. There are also mobile homes in some cities that aren't even there anymore b/c of the wind, and ppl are homeless... That could've been Tampa....

Yea, the **** hit Orlando badly. I think Im like the only person I know who still has power, cable, Internet, water, etc. We have family staying w/ us, because it'll be about a week before they can start working on the power, because all of the trees being uprooted, traffic lights not working, and damage to folks property. Oh, I dont know why the media is saying ALLL these people died. I think the most that were **** we like five. My best friend's grandfather lives in Jamaica and he said that the news there says thousands died!! WTF??

I live in the tampa bay area (st.petersburg) and yes we were VERY lucky, but i didn't take it seriously because i didn't think the **** was going to hit us, but my mom made me stay with her Friday night (she lives in the hood, the safest place to be when a **** hits!!!!!!) because i live out by the water. but we were lucky.

Everybody in Daytona Beach is starting to get there power back but at my friends old apartment, a tree came in where his bed used to be. Thank God they moved last week.

^^^ Exactly. I JUST got my power back entirely. I consider myself pretty lucky, because when I first left my apartment complex after the storm, there were whole trees laying around that had been yanked from the ground entirely. Someone's car was completely smashed in the back (so glad it wasn't mine). I knew I shouldn't have came back to Daytona so early.
