The Ice Cream Footwear Collection will be released by Reebok next month, their third licensing with a hip-hop artist. The athletic giant will also handle Pharrell’s oft-talked about clothing line the Billionaire Boys Club.
"There is a tremendous opportunity for us to create a niche in the sneaker category that would set this collection apart from anything else that is out there," Williams said. "The Ice Cream collection is everything the sneaker enthusiast desires -- it is fashionable, aspirational, and most of all it is limited."
The lines will both be high priced and available in limited quantities. The first line of shoes will run $200. The first set of shoes will have “sparkling images of diamonds and dollar bills,” according to RBK.
$200 for some sneakers !?!?!?!? Pharell playin himself. I dont care how nice a shoe is...I aint payin more than 110 - 120 for them, and the only time I spend THAT much on sneakers is when they Jordans. I usually settle for my 1's that run me about $90 :roll:
