okay I'm still in High School, I plan to attend a HBCU. Ever since my last year of middle school, iI wanted to pledge Delta. I've become a volunteer for the Pasadena Alumnea Chapter and I've bought a book on the sorrity. BUT I'm afraid to pledge the more I read books on soros in general and talk to people who've pledge, the more i find out about "hazing" which is illegal but soros still do it in some places. Do I have anything to worry about? PLease help me.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is a non-hazing sorority. Pledging is illegal. We have a membership intake process. You have nothing to worry about. May I suggest that you tell the first Delta that you meet on your campus how you feel about hazing, so you can be sure to avoid being hazed. Also be sure to tell them that you volunteered with Pasadena Alumnae Chapter, so you know your rights.
