Praise the Lord and pass the 30 large: Rapper Kanye West is taking his "Jesus Walk" all the way to the bank. We hear West charged the Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, Md., a whopping $30,000 to perform his pseudo-gospel single at a gathering there Friday. But, almost three hours late, the rapper showed up without a deejay, backup singers or dancers. Accompanied by the church band, West performed an abbreviated version of "All Falls Down" before doing "Jesus Walk" and exiting. Hip-hop veteran Cheryl (Salt) James of Salt-N-Pepa - who recently launched a career in Christian rap - had to stall more than 3,000 teenagers while they waited for West to arrive. An Ebenezer official refused to confirm West's large fee.

Sounds like another B. I. Itch move from Kanye. Chargin 30,000 to a church already sounds a bit suspect to me, but then to come late as if it's a regular concert? I donno about that one.
I'm sorry but Kanye has lost his mind. Now it's okay if you're at your own concert or something like that, but that was just disrespectful. I love his music and tha fact that he's representing my city but he's going overboard. Tha money .. no comment. He tried to play tha church like he was doing some basement show.
Ebenezer is a big production.
Remixing rap songs to make them gospel..."I Got 99 Problems But My God Ain't One" they should be ashamed. There's a way to get the youth without stooping that low.
