Don't Hate Me Shorty Posted on 08-17-2004

MissNelly
Chicago, IL
:| I wanted to go to a HBCU so bad but it just didn't work out the way I planned. I am all on my own I don't have my parents or my family to help me really so I had to enroll at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I mean it isn't a bad school, but its not what I wanted. I hope that I don't have a bad time here.I hope you all still show me love even though I am offically an outsider now.   AIN'T NO TOWN LIKE CHI-TOWN

Aww....its cool. You may have a great time at U of I in Urbana-Champaigne. Just be optimistic. Everything happens for a reason. ANd you are ALWAYS welcomed here at the Central. But Im sorry you dont have the support from ur family that you need. I hope everything works out.

It really doesn't matter where you go, just so long as you get that education, you feel? So just do you, and you got the fam right here.
