Probably because you're still a lurker. Having just 1 post prolly wont get you into the "exclusive" forums.

To gain privileges for a private forum, you have to be invited by one of the moderators of that particular forum. You can, however, let the mods know that you are interested in joining. Click the link for "usergroups" at the top of your screen, select the forum you want to join, and click request membership. Hope this helps. Holla!
