okay, i don't think i'm alone when i saw that i think there is a reason God puts anyone in your life, right? regardless of who they are and how long they stay around....there is a purpose for the short or long visit of EVERYone you know....
so, given that....if God told you right now that particularly in the last FIVE YEARS (as in all of 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 - NOT '99!!), there specifically have been 10 individuals you MET who have given some type of contribution to the person you are today, the person you are to become, your way of thinking, etc. etc.....
so who would you say these 10 people have been...and as briefly as possible...what did they leave you with about either (or all of) yourself, life in general, the world, people, etc...? what lesson did you learn from knowing them??? and finally, do you still know/keep in contact with them?? u can share why not if u don't...but that's optional..
now, these people could have been in your life for all of 1 hour...maybe 3 months....2 years....or the whole 5-year period...BUT...the keywords r that you MET them during this time frame...so, like...unless you're 4 yrs. old or some ish, ya can't say ya mama, get it?? or u can't mention the best friend u've known now since the 2nd grade....
ALSO....these people could have been the best of people....and they could have been the worst of people....they could have given you the greatest of experiences....and they could have supplied you with the greatest of burdens and/or stress...they could be loved ones...."hated" ones...long-lost cousins...neighbors...strangers...a baby you had within the last 5 years....the mailman from the house u stayed in during 2001....whoEVer...LITerally...

This is a very good topic! I cant think of 10...but i'll write th ones that do come to mind.
Terrell: My buddy since my freshman year in h.s. I love him ta death. He's contributed soo many things to my life. He always helps me to look on the bright side and he's helped me gain confidence in myself. We still keep in touch and the lesson i learned from him was: Always be true to yerself...no matter who might pull you down, there's always someone there to lift u up!
Anique: She's been my gurl since my freshman year in h.s. too! I love her soo much juss for her bein her. She's been like my back bone all these years. AND one of the things she contributed to my life was her kindness...and her ability to juss know tha right things to say. Yea i still keep in touch wit her too. The lesson she taught me was: A secret will always be kept a secret...if its between me and her.
Myeshia: I've known her since my freshman year in h.s. Yea we still keep in touch. She was wit me thru all my drama. She contributed a different type of friendship to my life. The lesson she taught me was: to learn how to forgive. Because u never know what tomorrow brings and you wouldnt wanna go on without lettin that person know that you forgave them!

:arrow: My boyfriend...we met four years ago, and he has been there for me for tha most part. We are so different yet it works.
:arrow: My Big Brother/Cousin Corey...in tha last 3 years we have gotten SUPER close...before that we didn't really talk much at all. he taught me everything I kno about how to get over on guys...only because he knows tha game and didn't want me to end up like some of the girls he has dissed...
:arrow: my godbrother Jared...I love that boy to death. No joke...we talk on a regular basis, and if you meet both of us, you would swear that we are really related...but we're not. I look up to him, really. I met him awhile back...and thaz my boy.
:arrow: my best friend Bev...she is in college wit a 2 year old kid...she's goin to med school and all...whenever I feel like giving up, I think of her and that motivates me to do my best.
:arrow: my ex Terrance...taught me tha most about being in love, and being a TRUE friend...I wish I still talked to him (we're so far apart that we haven't been able to keep in touch)
:arrow: my girl Dena...thaz one of my other best friends...she's from Brooklyn via Cleveland via Ocho Rios Jamaica...she's crazy like me, and I didn't know how much I would miss her until she moved...

:arrow: Mr. Webb...he was like my second father to me, I could always tell him somethin and he would always just keep it real...I miss that...but I still keep in touch with him.
