The Debates *avb* Americans and HBCU alike...(Politics) Posted on 10-10-2004

(avb= as viewed by)* So if you havent been watchin the debates or if you didnt register to vote Ill just start this note with a Shame On You. But to those of you that did, I want to know a few things about how the black caucus feels in general. Believing that Bush needs to be out of office is one thing but going behind Kerry for support (because there ARE other candidates believe it or not) needs some simple, civil reasoning So far Ive only spoken with 3 people that actually are completely conscious of everything thats been argued about and questioned. Alot of you are of age and even if you vote blanket democrat you still should be aware of these candidates and their platforms. Security Dependability Judgement These three alone dont make up a president but are paramount values that we should hold near and dear. I kind of want everyone to write out what they know about the candidates so that theres no confusion as to who they are and what goals they have. Also, what can you expect in the next 4 years with each president? (Ill answer later, im busy writing...)

..."how many goodies can kerry give out to to the black community?" security is my main issue, and i think IN THE LONG RUN bush's plan makes us safer at home, and repsected in the world.

Do you know what his plan is? Cuz if its the same old then I dont see how safe it truly is. And are you speaking on his domestic security or international security? Theres only so much we can do in the black hole called the middle east... [size=negligible, and unable to be read]*cough*bushsucksd*ck*cough*

I can't say that I back Bush, because his stance on security issues just disgust me. To me, it's is like he's refusing to see the reality of this picture. This war is a duplicate of Veitnam. The only thing that will be accomplished by sending more troops over is increasing the death toll and decreasing the population. ( I've always thought of wars as a tool that leaders used to balance out the world population. But that depends on how you look at it.) Kerry I also am not very fond of, but he's slightly better than Bush. When I watched one of the debates he seemed as though he wasn't very sure of his responses. His rebuttals also weren't very strong. He may shock me and be the firm president that America needs, but to me he seems so weak and easily intimmidated. I would like to see a debate that included all of the canidates. I think that if America had a chance to see all the canidates and their stance on different issues that it would produce greater odds of America electing a better president. Or at least make the democratic and republican canidates step up some.

Whos unemployment? Where the hell are you getting these numbers?? PLEASE check your facts because if you LOSE more jobs than you create in a presidency then obviously the unemployment rate has to have gone up. Educate yourselves people. Oh, Kerry is up in the polls *big smile, eats cheesecake*

Clintons umemployment rate was 5.6 when he ran for re-election, but when he took office the unemployment rate was 7.4. http://www.1loansusa.com/charts/uneploymentrate.html click the link you can look at unemployment rates since 1948.
