okay. i'm a junior right now in high school (06!) and i know exactly what school i want to go to (howard!) and everything. my problem is...i still have a year before i can even apply. while most of my peers are just beginning college research, i've done it. so now i stress about whether i'll even get in or not. what things can i do to either help the time pass quicker or just stop stressing about getting admitted and all that? any advice?

Man I'm in the saaame place you are! I started my search in my sophomore year & now I'm all set. The only advice I can give you is what I was given by a senior friend of mine who did tha same thing. Since you should already know what the school wants. Spend your time makin' your grades the best and being in as many extracurriculars as you can handle. Make sure that your app looks good. Because that stuff can really be important. But if you set in alla that, do wut I did & get a job so you got spendin' money for when ya 'rents ain't there to give it out. Good luck my fellow '06 sistah!

yea I had that same problem last year, and now that I've gotten into all of my college choices except maybe two, it's even worse.
