Alrighty Folks, this question is to all college students out there wit a 3.5
or better GPA. I am going to Jackson State University this Fall on a full
schoalrship, but to keep it I must keep my GPA at 3.5 or higher. This
might be a challange for me cuz I'm pushin' just a 3.1 in all my years in
high school (I'm kinda a underachiever). Can anyone give me any tips on
keep my GPA up that high? (3.5 and above) Much Luv to anyone that can.

Go to class, study ahead for tests/quizzes, do ya homework nightly, and go to teachers during their office hours for questions, and um...get OLD TESTS from upperclassmen so you can see the teacher's testing style!!

TIME MANAGEMENT..... TRY YOUR BEST NOT TO PROCRASTINATE... AND DO WHAT THE PROFESSORS WANT. ANOTHER GOOD ONE IS TO STAY IN THE PROFESSORS OFFICE. IF YOU HAVE A SLIGHT DOUBT ABOUT SOMETHING JUST GO TO THE TEACH....THEY KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW... CONGRATS ON YOUR SCHOLARSHIP

For real. I have been able to keep a high GPA (3.5 or better) in high school but I'm not so sure I will be able to do the same in college because I know it is a whole new ball game. Taking a college english course as a h.s. senior is hard enough~I hope y'all can give us some good tips on how to stay focused and not let that GPA slip cause my scholarship is the ONLY way I will be able to afford staying at Bethune-Cookman.
