I AM HAVING TROUBLE DECIDING WHERE I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE. I NEED SOME ADVICE. I AM CURRENTLY LIVING IN ALABAMA, WHICH I AM NOT FROM. I DECIDED TO ATLEAST PICK A FEW COLLEGES HERE. SO FAR, I AM INTERESTED IN A HBCU. I AM LOOKING FOR A HBCU WITH A GOOD NURSING PROGRAM. I HAVE LOOKED INTO TUSKEGEE AND OAKWOOD COLLEGE SO FAR. I REALLY COULDN'T FIND TOO MANY BLACK COLLEGES HERE IN ALABAMA WITH A NURSING PROGRAM. I AM ALSO CONSIDERING OTHER PLACES IN WHICH, MY EXTENDED FAMILY LIVES SUCH AS MARYLAND AND TEXAS. I AM SO LOST, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO. CAN SOMEONE HELP A SISTA OUT? I KNOW SOME OF Y'ALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS OUT THERE DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO EITHER. WHAT COLLEGES ARE YOU CONSIDERING? HOLLA BACK!

I hear that Tuskeegee has a great nursing program, but the only real places that I've heard of with good nursing programs aren't HBCU's.
But.....I plan on attending either FAMU or BCC. I applied to FAMU,BCC,Albany State, AAMU, and Xavier. I only applied to one in-state skool, cuz I'm determined to get outta here! I wanna be in Florida in the fall of 2005! Rattlers!!!
