Baby It's Cold Outside is the jumpoff!
My senior year in high school, we marched Night and Day and Caravan. Both however, were the versions done by the band "Chicago"..............................white folks, I tell ya...........
I remember marching Night in Tunisia my freshmen year. It came out fairly good. We didn't ahve too many white people in the band... mostly Blacks and Puerto Ricans. The white bands couldn't stand us lol.
How could we forget about My Favorite Things by Coltrane.
Also Round Midnight by Thelonius Monk
That funny Valentine by Wynton is tight but I love the Sarah Vaughan version (that first "Valentine" is serious, i love the strings too.)
