So the problem isn't really with what the program offers, just your expectations.
And with the fact that there are some for pay enhanced items that aren't available with the readily available standard set available for each component.

BUILD my own SuperHero using the software as is.

You can design "everything" for your SuperHero with the free standard set.
You just don't have every design "available" in excess of that free standard set.

I'm sorry if I seem querulous but I'm not satisfied with NOT getting my point across and NOT getting what I expect...that may be a good thing or a bad thing...depends on the situation, I suppose.
