What's up? I was wondering if anyone checked out the pictures of Howard University in the last Seventeen Magazine. I plan on attending HU in the fall and if everyone always dresses like that, I'll look all weird in my tshirt and jeans. Peace...

Everyone on campus does not look like that. The majority of people wear t-shirts and jeans. And them girls who wear stelletos to class look like fools walking up all the hills with a bookbag and 4 inch hills. I promise you wont look stupid.
I have to disagree with the previous reply. A lot of girls dress up to go to class at Howard. It will amaze you to see how female students look for 8 am classes (stilletos, make-up, hair, clothes.... on point). On snow days and days where the weather is not great you will see most people dressed down, but you still have the select few who test their luck by wearing boots when there is ice on the ground. You will see what I'm talking about when you get here, but always remember to be yourself and rock your t-shirts and sneakers because I know I do. I wish you the best of luck at HU!!!!!!!!!
dont feel pressured to fit in with the crowd, there are people who get dressed to impress EVERY SINGLE MORNING, this goes for fellas too! cuz i have plenty of friends who do it. But rock your jeans and your t-shirts to the freakin fullest! I am known for my t-shirts and jeans....you can still be cute and comfortable.

I feel you on the jeans and t-shirts. I do not have any time to be busting my *ss on some ice tryna look cute. Besides, like HowardLadie said, I can still be cute in my jeans and t's :wink:
