Actually if it is nothing negative I'm down for putting up/fixing anything you guys think needs to be fixed. Right now, I'm working with the ad agency that created these banner ads on behalf of infiniti... Peep the situation, cause it's like a catch 22. The agency that Infiniti hired to do multicultural advertising did a great thing when they did their research and found out that HBCUConnect.com is like the #5 black website on the internet (Blackplanet, Bet.com, Blackvoices, BlackAmericaweb, then us), so they selected us as a media target with this latest campaign. So they stepped up with this video banner campaign to run until march 31st, which afforded us about 4 months worth of salary for my office of 5. So with that time, we've been adding all of these new features because we dont have to spend all of our time trying to find ways to make money and run the site... Unfortunately the banner ads are obnoxious, but worse case scenario the ads will be up until end of march. But I'm looking to get them to agree with a new banner design that we come up with. Else, we will decrease the frequency of the ads on the pages of the site that we all visit the most. Long story short, here is what it boils down to: 1. drop the ads, no funds, site development halts, users happier. 2. keep ads, irritated users, site development continues, more users, more fun features, drop ads after march. 3. drop all ads, make users pay... NOT gonnuh happen :? Also, wait till ya'll see this video chat room we are getting ready to launch. All other websites make members pay for this feature, but we rather not have people pay (just click on ads ) Any and all suggestions, get at me.
