I think the blame is in the artist AND women...Rappers should respect black women enough that they realize it isnt okay to degrade us in the videos..and keep in mind the fact that they have mothers, daughters, aunts, neices, etc...and Im more than positive they wouldnt want another man exposing their daughter the way they expose and degrade someone else's daughter.
As far as the women are concerned, I feel like you are responsible for yourself. You should have enough respect that no amount of money would allow you to be displayed in such a trifling and degrading manner. Shame on them for allowing someone else to do them like that. As long as these video hos dont care, the rappers wont care cause they will still have girls shakin they **** in the videos. It wont be til when video hos take a stance to say that they dont like how they are being displayed in videos which will force rappers to make different videos cause they wont have no one to exploit anymore.

If there were not women who were willing to make some fast cash by showin their **** in a video, black women would not be put out there to the rest of the world like that. Unless there is some kind of underground slavery that I know nothing about, no one is forcing these women to appear in videos and take off their clothes. I think Spelman women could make much more of a difference if they addressed the issue as to why their classmates parade around half **** as soon as a 70 degree day comes up.
