I'm trippin off of cats being so mad about things... I think the problem is that we have too many people jockeying for position on the message boards here... I'm about to remove all moderators too and then put in place moderators that I have seen contributing positively to the message board community rather than picking people who just ask me to be a moderator or admin...
So my Saturday has been pretty bad considering all that is going on here. :x
Just for the record ****, I dont wanna contribute to the destruction of your saturday night, it aint that Im mad, it's that I aint mad, or excited about what's going on, it's just lame to me....like I think it is to a majority of the people here....I THINK that most people are disappointed ****, not mad....and dont blame yourself, or your decisions on most of the moderators you chose, Im sure you, like most other people, had no idea how this was gonna turn out yo......anyway, good luck ****...I see you tryin to sort it out, Im sure we gonna stick around, but hurry up and get Tiph and Rod unbanned tho, :-D

Peoples feelings will still be hurt, but you've provided some clear and direct answers in response to our questions and concerns.
May I suggest that you create a public/visible forum where people can submit a moderators application.
Set up some parameters/guidelines for what sort of requirements that you are lookin for.
Ask folks to post a poll instead of a regular thread with one question, "Do you have confidence that I will be a fair and impartial Moderator?" and two options, "Yes" and "No.
That way you will be able to set your parameters, such as length of time as a member and only seriously consider those applicants.
While the poll would show you who the members really feel would add value to the overall board.
