i used to think it was unfair, but i dont anymore. my theory is that they are only giving money to hbcu students because maybe they won't they money to go to our schools. this makes perfect since to me. they dont want to give money to blacks students who go to the non-hbcu because it would be like giving the money to back to the white schools. the uncf wants to support the black schools. thats all. nothing unfair about that.
I agree with what she said and it is also an incentive for black students attending HBCUs. There is not as much support from black students for HBCUs as it should be, so this is another way to build that support.
