so what do yall do on weekends? or what is there to do? especially for artist types...

im not from cali, but girl are ya serious...you can do anything from clubbing, to seeing poetry nights, to seeing freestyle battles, to seeing a movie, going out to eat, going ice skating,rollerblading going to museums, zoos, bicycling, protesting , marathons, painting,going to kings dominion amusement park and screaming your head off,getting pampered at a spa, going to open mics, going to fashion shows, going to concerts, basketball games, football games, chilling at the malls, anything and everything you can imagine....ive done everything above i mentioned on weekends lol except the painting and i dont even have a car....yes i know, gangsta

I'm from the area so I don't hype up DC that much, but being that I'm in school in another area I have to say that I perfer the DC area more, HU is kinda in the middle of everything, so it's a good location it's definately not a boring area. But there aren't as many colleges in the area, esp. HBCU, MD has a few but it not a hop, skip and a jump away. One thing that is good is that you don't really need to drive(esp with the gas prices) cause of the metro system.
