Why the hell when some parents name their sons after the father, instead of being Michael Jones Jr, he is Michael Jones II. WTF!?!?!? It makes no sense to me. Like I wonder if its to make it sound more fancy or sumthing. It does make sense to start using roman numerals after Jr...so from Michael Jones III, and so forth after that it makes sense. But Like really...whats the purpose? This is a silly question, but it has always boggled my mind. No one has never had an answer to this one question, as many times I asked.
Any takers??
The roman numerals are just an addition to a name. Junior is usually done in modern families and roman numerals are from waay back in the day. It began in Europe, that's why most of the ****'s have roman numerals in their names. It is pretty annoying but you just bear with it. And they were also used to keep royalty in the family so people never forgot that this person's great-great etc. grandfather was once king.

Oh ok...thank you for your response. It seems that none of the fellas knew the answer either.
