Hey y'all! I got all da money I need to go to Bethune-Cookman for free this fall! I juss gotta check and see if I can use both sholarships. I juss hope soo. I'm sooo happy, but das not REALLY where i wanna be. hopefully I can transfer over to FAMU when I'm a sophomore.
What y'all think about that? What would y'all have to do if y'all hadda say goodbye to ya dream skool fa ya second choice?

but on the dream school, i was in the same situation......but i (like u) had to go where the money was......its ok theres always transferrin
yea...but if I can't get into Howard I won't mind going to FAMU (my second choice)...especially if I get a band scholarship...but Howard's where the heart is...
I was [not] smart and I chose Howard where the money wasn't and the tuition was higher. The tuition is way higher than my mother makes in even a year, but my mother still wants me to go even more than I want to go myself. Depending on the amount of external scholarships its gonna hurt me later on.

But yea always keep in mind that you can transfer if you dont like BCC.
I would say go where the money is, because your first choice can end up being pure hell if you don't have the money to pay for it. Since the school is like your second choice, it is not really all that bad.
Congradulations GurL :-) ... i know this guy who went to BCC and lost his mind he was back home within a year =/ he lost track of what was important but GOOD luCk to you ! :-)
