I'm stressing myself every day, and arguing with my father constantly about whether or not I want to be in debt by going to CAU, or just attend St. John's Univeriity which is also a private institution, but it's predominately caucasian. I really want to attend CAU, but the amount of $ they gave me in loans is crazy...I didn't even get work study. I mean damn.

FUNNY
I AM IN THE SAME EXACT SITUATION
temple is offering me money and clark aint give me anything
temple is bigger and have better staff and offices
Temple is INSTATE so i got lots of grants and stuff
but then theres something in me thats tellin me to go to CAU because its outta state
but i figured i save the money i would loose on clark and go to some foreign country or something
Probally what ill do is try to transfer to clark in 2 years (if im still interested) because CAU'S FINANCIAL AID IS BULLS*IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but i just dont wanna regret it
If you have been reading the forums, then you would know I was crazy about Clark, and that was my number one choice for a long time, and I knew for sure that was where I was going. But now I am no longer going there, and I am instead going to attend their neighbor school Spelman College, you know, going to become a Spelmanite.
I wanna go to CAU, yeah chila it's just something about CAU, well I guess ATL in general. I hope that I don't regret it either, but on the other hand I can save up that $ that I will be spending on CAU, and go to one of the city colleges in NYC, where I would be getting back $ in FinAid,cuz tuition is like 2,000 a semester. With all of the grants and other stuff I would be gettin if I stay out here, I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The only problem is that the city colleges are like high school all over again...and since I live in NYC, it's a fashion show up in them schools too. Half of the kids who attend those schools use the finaid $ on buying expensive clothes and hooking up the systems in their cars, cuz they're basically going to school for free, while the rest of us don't know how the hell we're going to pay 4 college. I DON'T KNOW....
