There are alot of HBCU's that are disappearing and cutting programs because lack of funds. There having to join with other schools and crazy stuff like that just to keep going. Morris Brown VUU just to name some. Yall what is going to happen if HBCU's just keep disappearing and we as a race just keep losing what we worked so hard to achieve?? Would you ever consider going to a white school if your school disappeared or would go to another HBCU.

I think we owe it to our ancestors to save and restore what they worked hard to establish. It's sad that others in our own community could careless about keeping the HBCU legacy alive.

Your text conflicts with the background color if you haven't noticed, making it hard to read... But yeah, our black schools need to get it together. But even if our schools go down, I think people will still attend them.
During the Depression Era, ALL the HBCU's were struggling and all the college presidents came together to keep the schools alive. We need to have faith and help each other in time of need.
We need to work on Alumni relations between students and hbcu's. Alums from white schools give beaucop money, and we don't support anything but Homecomings.
Well maybe HBCUs were necessary back when it was illegal for us to go to any other school. But now that there are so many alternatives it is hard to see the attraction of attending one of these institutions in favor of one that not only has the money to provide financial aid but to give to students for research grants among other important activities. As you said was proved during the civil rights era, separate is inherently unequal. Yet, we still segregate and subject ourselves to this inequality.
What school did you attend?? I ask because you have poor communication skills. Everything you say is an attack on someone or their choice of school. Which by the way, has nothing to do with you. Furthermore, you might not find a need for HBCU's but there are thousands of students who do. So, you can argue all day and night about what you think but none of your points are valid. They are all based on your personal opinion's.
