^Ignorant; that's if this story is factual. People are treated differently depending on how they look in certain instances but it's your job, especially at Wal-mart, to treat all customers in the same matter. If the "ghetto" girl came at you disrespectful, I could see but if you just did it cause white chick appealed to you more, you need to check yourself. That's just my honest opinion. Just treat people how you want to be treated.

For some reason...I don't know why. But I can't help not but to treat everybody the same. As far as looksism goes, I reguard it in my mind whether or not I'm really attracted to a female or not too attracted, but usually the way that person acts determines this. I've grown to this point and now it's just natural. If I have any problem it's based on intellectual measure. I treat people differently if I think their not intelligent by the way they act. I try not to, but I still do anyway. The thing is I don't like when people treat me that way like I'm stupid which I'm certainly not. I guess I kinda deserve it tho with the way I do at times. One thing I need to work on and change.

"Lookism" is real. I honestly will see a cute girl come through my line at the grocery store and I will be sure to have a convo with her. But if an **** girl comes though my line, I say hey and that is it. I don't do it on purpose, I just......do it

And was it the way she looked or the way she talked?

^I didn't say it was just because she was white.

Chivalry is not ****. You should have treated the tall lady just as well as you treated the short lady. That would have been the GENTLEMAN thing to do. I dont know about anyone else, but my brother was taught to open doors and pull out chairs for any lady no matter her color, height, or etc....

Whether we want to admit it or not we all are victims of "lookism". whether we be the giver or the reciever. each and every one of us has benifited because we appeal to someone. this is just the society we live in. the one that appeals to us is the one we give preferential treatment to. I will admit, yes I have been a little nicer to the more attractive dude at work than I have been to the guy thats not that great looking. And yes this is wrong.

I just can't treat people differently like that for some reason. I would get too convicted because I don't like when people treat me that way so if I did I would be even more hypocritical.
