SAD SAD SAD WOMEN CHILD YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHERE YOU ARE FROM, AND IF YOUR TONE IS ANY INDICATION OF "SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY" THEN YOU CAN KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
Well i agree wit tres n crazy 2 an extent. Most ppl that have been brought up n an environment were women weren't treated wit the love n respect that we deserve or vice versa honestly don't kno how. When a cycle or a tradition has been set it's hard to break it. If u've been taught it or seen it on a daily basis more than likely u do it. then no matter if u kno right from wrong sum ppl (most) ppl make that assumption that that is right. Many different ppl have their own belief n what's right n what's not.
Also too many ppl pass the blame off on others n can't take the responsibility themselves.
The stereotype that ppl from the south r more repectful isn't always true. I'm from the south n i agree that we're taught respect but i rarely see much of it from my young brothers around my way. U ask where is the love? I can honestly say that it's there it's just not being given out.
thats why i didnt respond intially, he doesnt want responses even if he doesnt agree with them, just another whine post that seems popular on hbcu nowadays
anyways my view on it, people are people, white people do the same thing, asians and so on and so on...there is still love, maybe you just have to give the love back and love yourself instead of always expecting it from other people and then it wont matter who or what gets love...black people care too much about pleasing others and being accepted or aka "loved"......just do you....anyways go volunteer somewhere if some of yall feel unloved and believe me youll get more than enough love to satisy your wishes, believe me i love the lil kids i mentor
but i also dont blame anything or anybody because about what i guess what yall see "as the negativity in our black community"...the only negativity i see is when black folks sit and talk all day about what should be done, or are scared to go in certain neighborhoods and help their counterparts, basically the bougie surburban ones who will buy a new prada bag instead of giving a dime to a black homeless woman just need to be shot, other than that, if blacks lifted a hand to help their community, no matter how "ghetto" they think it is... this world would be a better place
