How hard do you find it to stay true to your religion, whatever it may be, while attening an HBCU or any college? What are the hardest temptations to run from?
actually getting up sunday morning to attend church...
you try getting up at 7 am on sundays for like a 1 hour bus ride across fulton county to see evans or to go to new life...
finding a church home is difficult...i went to morehouse in ATLANTA the black church capitol and wasn't able to find a church home...i tired new life, evan's church, and the school church...non fit me...
yeah but evans church is off the chain...but sometimes i felt it became a fashion show/"look what i got" type gimmick...alot of rich black folk there...i felt very uncomfetable (speelling)...
the sound system at evans church was cool too...but the wafers there are off the chain! shoot i was about to ask for 2!!! :-)
