I have a slight problem! There is soemthing people have been telling me not to have when i come to school......thats a boyfriend unless both of you all are coming together and if your relationship can with stand temptation. well i kind of let my broken heart speak before i thought about what was going on so now i have this guy that i really like and all but he goes to WSSU and i know that by the time we get to school our relationship isn't going to that strong. I am talking about that he is already saying that he is going to wie me up and lock me down. I want to be able to explore and find my way. Though I know that it might not get to much better than him. What should i do? Should i ride it out and see how things go when i get to school or should i end it now and tell him how i feel?

Well if you're really in love with that person no one else should matter no matter what circumstance you're in. If you're questioning if you're not going to be able to be faithful, then you need to re-evaluate if you're in love with this person or not.

HEY MY NAME IS NICHOLE BUT PEEPS CALL ME MISTY   WELL I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD DO WHAT YOURE HEART TELLS YOU , PERSONALLY I WONT LET ANY GUY TELL ME THAT HE IS GOING TO LOCK ME DOWN AND I CANT EXPLORE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST WAIT AND SEE CUZ ALOT OF GUYS SAY THIS BUT TRUTHFULLY WHEN IT BOILS DOWN TO IT THEY WOULD BE THE ONE'S TRYING TO EXPLORE. BUT DO WHAT YOU FEEL. AND LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENS

Don't let him lock u down. people change SOOOO much during their freshman year, and freshman year is all about exploring and finding your way. First semester the relationships are usually okay but by Spring Break, they're usually history.it's better to arrive for your freshman year single...if he's gonna be like that...

Well im still with my bf, and he is louisiana while im in florida. It can work if you really want it to. Its hard, but only try to make it work if its worth it. My college experience has not been watered down, like people tried to say it would be. Now have I had a lot less drama in my life compared to most college students? Y E S.

im in the same boat...cept my bf is going away. I would believe that our relationship is strong. we've gone through almost everything. But i dont want to seem like a burden to him while he's in college and make him feel like he cant enjoy himself but then i dont want to loose him. We decided on trying things out for the first semester. Do u guys think this'll work? Or for those who r in long distance relationships how is it?

Well I feel like some of the others that replied. I feel if you love a person it shouldnt matter. People think breaking up with their boyfriends and girlfriens is the best thing to do when u enter college, but sometimes when u do do that you end up losing someone that you were blessed to have in the 1st place. Good ppl are hard to find now adayz and if u got a good person, dont let them go. Thats jsut my opinion

If your thinking of yourself as being "locked down" then you probaly should not be together. Otherwise, like Megan said, if you really have deep feelings for him, and want to be with him don't let theories and things get in the way of yall's relationship. One important thing is to talk to him about it all tho. Communication can help you out a lot.
