Your Unemotional

I have a question, this question has been going through my mind for the pass week, what is an unemotional person? Because i have been told on MANY MANY accounts that i am unemotional, i don't understand... any help, its not like i don't care about people.. i care... i do, but damnit if one more person calls me unemotional.. :-(

unemotional?? I mean do you hide your emotions? Do you react totally different from the people around you when hearing the same news? I I never heard of a person being unemotional. Even if you were to stand there stoned faced when everyone around you is laughing, you're still showing emotion, its just the opposite of everyone else's.... I mean if you're stone face in every situation I would say your emotions are limited, but you can't be UNemotional...

Their probaly talking about your facial expression. I'm the same way, and it get's tiring when people make sarcastic remarks like "You look so happy" or "you look lost/serious". I think people just judge the way you feel by your facial expression or just total outward expression which isn't always the case, because everyone doesn't show what they feel.

People tell me that all the time. I have kind of gotten used to it and embraced it. For me alot of it has to do with the fact that I don't deal with emotions. For some things it is what it is and that's all. In other situations I just don't display my emtions. I sometimes keep a look of indeifference, and then there are those time where I could really care less. Growing up with my brothers the thought of displaying emootions around them was kind of a weakness, so in order to hide it I did away with showing emotion. Now it is just second nature to me. I think it has alot to do with the fact that maybe a certain level of emotion that is deemed as natural may not alwys be displayyed, so it can be taken as not having emotions toward certain things or people.
