Ok, Sunday is Father's Day. This thread is all about DADDY!

How you gonna do THIS Father's Day 2005?
I'll go first:
My daddy is the best. He and I are tight. We even have matching Navigators. We cool like that.
My dad is retired with a job cause he loves people. He is real active, travels, landscapes, builds stuff, loves music, me and all his friends and family!
Growing up he never laid a hand on us kids. He would talk and make us think about the things we did. Dad is quiet. When he speaks he has something significant to say. Dad and mom(not her week) took us everywhere. We had a real cool life. While dad was mad rich (to us) we never knew it as kids. Again, dad was quiet, fun, classy, respected and focused. We were not greedy kids so if we asked for something we got it.
Almost lost him when we were kids. He was going to the store to get mom something she needed for Thanksgiving dinner. Some lady accidentally hit his car and he got out to console her cause she was sayin her husband was gonna be mad. She hit my dads Mark 4, another lincoln car. While out of his car a **** man hit my dad throwin him into the next block...that was a bad night and early morning for us kids...
On Sunday me, hubby and son will take him to one of the Jazz clubs he likes. My other brothers and sisters do the breakfast thing. We do the evening part. He is truly the man who has everything so we don't do gifts as he insists. He always lets the grandson "hold" something for school if his grades are right. This year...they right!

My Daddy is the best. He is my daddy, my confidant, my best friend. Any time I need somone he is there for me. I might not like his advice all the time but its usually whats best for me. Though I dont always show it, Im very glad my daddy is in my life. No daughter could ask for more.
My daddy is a great father. He's always there when I need him. Even though we have our disagreements at times, I thank god for him. I love my daddy Well my daddys birthday is saturday and being that fathers day is sunday my mom, my brother and I have a weekend of events planned for him.
It be like that sometimes...
Anyway, my dad is a cool dude. His birthday was just friday so I dont really see myself shellin out anymore money on him except for a card. He knows I love him.

I am so sorry that your daddy missed out on a JEWEL like you. If it's ok with you, we will make him the first: Rollin Stone for the thread. See, now he sumthin!
Now if he ain't do-do behind some foul or criminal behavior then we can strip him of that Pappa Was a Rollin Stone "honor"..ok?
My father is alright...we've come along way...we weren't even talking when I left for school last fall but this years' events have brought us closer. He's a pastor (just started a church in 2003) and I respect tha fact that he's been married to my mom for 20 years now (as of June 1) and has always maken sure me and my sibling are taken care of. He's strict on us, but only cause he loves us. I've never had to go hungry or without good clothes, he loves my mom and is paying for my college tuition out of pocket (and no we're not rich)...we have our differences but I love him regardless.
My daddy has been missing from my life since I was a youngster.
But my "daddy"-figure is my uncle, and he is the greatest! He's been the father I've always needed and has loved me just like I was his own daughter. He's always got my back!
Well my daddys birthday is saturday and being that fathers day is sunday my mom, my brother and I have a weekend of events planned for him.
