Some one sent this to me and I want to know what some of you may think? I also read that "Satan, also know by his God given name Lucifer, was called the morning star." Tell me your opinions.
Lets try to keep it clean!
I usually tend to check the credibilty of author's before anything. Sometimes its hard to know what really is true when it comes to these things but Schnoebelen undeniably has a shaky history. I can almost bet that most of what is discussed in his books can be found by conspiracy theorist sites across the internet (which i have also found is not a reliable source).
Almost like the "Big Walt" of other societies.
This is just one of the sources i found from a simple google.

I'm not a Mason and this really isn't my business but figured I'd share that.
yea Ive read this before. As a Star, and knowing the foundations of what our organization is about, and the fact that the Order is very biblically based, and I simply dont believe that stuff, and like Nate said...the credibility of who wrote it is questionable. I mean. It doesnt offend me so much cause there are alotta people who think the Masonic Order is a cult, and is related to Satan, and whatever other foolish things that go on. Even my own mom has her own skepticisms with me being apart of the Order because she doesnt fully understand it, and never will because she isnt an Eastern Star. All I can say is, dont believe everything you hear. Ima Christian, and so are all of my sistars. Things like this is nothing new to us. Aint this aint the first and certainly wont be the last.
I feel you, but the guy who actually sent me this is a mason and we were discussing masons as related to the divine nine. The one main thing that threw me off was when he told me that the only people who can not join are catholics and atheists. I can understand the atheist part but if your org is christian based then why not a catholic?
At howard we dont have masons and OES (not to my knowledge at least) so I am not familuar with it.
^^^ Ive NEVER heard of the masonry not allowing Catholics into the order. Thats simply not true. I dont know what kind of Mason your friend is but thats VERY unheard of. The only requirement freemasonry has is that you have a belief in a Supreme being. Altho it would be hard NOT to be Christian because of the teachings inside masonry is all biblically based...its open to any and all religions and prides itself on not discriminating and not being EXCLUSIVELY for Christians. But that wouldnt matter for Catholics anyway cause they are Christians so that would make no sense. At FAMU there are many many masons and stars because there are a large number of masonic lodges and eastern star chapters in the tallahasse area. By the way. Do you know what masonic affliation your friend is?
I believe he said Prince Hall Affiliated...im not sure if im saying it correct but i remember that he was telling me about prince hall and so forth. I think he goes to wilberforce university (dont quote me on that tho)

Im Prince Hall Affiliated and have honestly NEVER heard this. I need to call up my Worthy Matron tomorrow for clarification...Only thing it says in our rituals is the belief in a Supreme Being as a requirement. I wonder why they are being taught that Catholics cant be let in. I need to look into this.
Well I'm catholic, an Eastern Star, and a Chrisitan. The problem is is that our information is not as available as other organizations. I don't listen to these different articles because it's rediculous.
