I clean my shoes when they get durtii but i dont try to keep them for a year lol I buy new shoes when I want them not because of whats in style but I do clean my shoes but if I have to clean them more than 5 times and they get to durtii for me to mess with I get new ones but it also depends on my "funds" and how much money I am working with at the time lol
As long as i want them to, basicaly if i really like them i'll take care of them and that depends on how long i keep them, i have a pair of shoes i've had since 10th grade and they haven't changed. Usually if i don't like a pair of shoes, i'll use them from running for Lacrosse, or a subsitute when i don't have my cleats. So i'll say they last about a year.
My AF1's and my Fila's usually last for bout a half year. I CAN make them last but I just choose to have a fresh pair in the middle of the year. My open toe shoes last forever since I don't wear them all the time. My J's gonna last forever too.
my tennis shoes last a year...cause I wear other shoes, I switch it up...can't wear the Nikes all the time!
flip flops in the summer time last maybe a month
my Tims have lasted 2 years but it's time for a new pair
and my dress shoes last awhile since I barely wear them (thank God my father dont make me dress up for church no more!)
My kicks last me forever... until they are busted and wore down...
I'd sooner buy some music equipment or something more functional. I always try and ahve at least one clean pair on the side.
Dress shoes are another story. Those stay fresh no matter what...
Shoes revolved around money. My last pair of shoes (nike shox) I wore for like a year. So I was wearin them like everyday cause I didn't have money for more. Now I have newly found money so I got...check this out...TWO pair of new shoes. My FILA's suck and my NB's are cool. I barely wear them cause I'm workin all the time tho. I plan on gettin a pair of timbs and some white/blue high top dunks before I leave.
yeah i do to...i work at a shoe store and i see them ALL the time. it gets so tempting. but its good because my shoes never really get dirty. i switch off so much they dont get to much time to get dirty. I LOVE SHOES!
