New African American Board Game Posted on 05-26-2005

From: Aprille Ericsson, Ph.D. Subject: Fwd: New African American Board Game A new board game has entered the market and is swiftly capturing national attention, the game is Prosperity. Prosperity is a first-class product on many levels. The physical design is a work of art, constructed (100% made in USA) with high quality board game materials, i.e. instead of the standard multi-colored plastic pawns they used custom designed real pewter game pieces. On one level, all players begin the game as mega-millionaires, then proceed to build empires as they experience a host of surprises. On an entrepreneurial level, players have the opportunity to own many types of property: high profit (Hotel), regular profit (Restaurant), low profit (HBCU), and/or no[n] profit (House of Worship). Prospective owners experience purchase financing, cooperative purchasing, sophisticated contract options, contract enforcement, fee or commission compensation, as well as tax responsibilities. And, on a deeper cultural level, players see Black faces on high value currency, see symbols of Black academic achievement, experience investment in Black communities, and exercise progressive cooperative economics in a achievement driven environment that happens to be Black. The game is flexible enough to be played with or without the rules. It is a great teaching/mentoring tool for bright children age 8 and above. Prosperity can be viewed at www.funwithwealth.com, played at a local library, or purchased and enjoyed from generation to generation. Now that you know, share the wealth, tell a friend. ::::::: _______________________________________ Aprille Ericsson, Ph.D. , D.Sc., HU Trustee NASA GSFC, Code 556 Instrument Systems Branch -----------------------------------------------

Dear HBCU Connect.com Family: I work for the publishers of Prosperity and have received permission to address you with all concerns you may have about our product. First of all, we would like to thank Dr. Ericsson for sharing our Black empowerment message. Secondly, we would also like to acknowledge the contribution of ’CrunkMonkey07‘ for bringing objective product information to this forum. Regarding: cafe-aulait “That looks cheap!!! Black folks always tryna mislead somebody.” We are sincerely sorry that you were mislead to believe that our product looks cheap. Our product is constructed of the finest quality materials available in the United States. Additionally, our product is also guaranteed for life. That means if you don’t like it, don’t want it, or wear it out, we will buy it back at the price you paid for it, if purchased from one of our authorized distributorships nationwide. Princess LaRonda “i was thinkin the same thing when i looked at that second pic..........then even more when i saw the pieces” Princess LaRonda, with regard to the “pieces,” our player pieces are custom designed, and fashioned using jewelry grade pewter. The player pieces are not made of plastic, or metal looking plastic, they are made of real pewter. Sir ThunderBonez06 “**** @ cheap...but it's still a good idea...” Princess LaRonda “no doubt its cheap but indeed a good concept.......” Sir Thunderbonez06 and Princess LaRonda: We thank you for appreciating the “idea” / “concept.” To all: because we sincerely value how the HBCU Connect.com Family views our product, I am authorized to extend to you the opportunity to experience Prosperity first hand, at a Prosperity Party. A Prosperity Party is an event in which highly competitive Prosperity players get together to play the game for a few hours, or new players are introduced to the game. An authorized coordinator will organize a group of 4 or 12 players (4 players per game), the Sponsor (publishers or local business) will provide games if necessary, and funds for food (pizza with soft drinks). Once we are informed that the Coordinator has a team of players organized, we will deliver a game to him/her, then provide him/her with one-on-one phone consultation. When the Coordinator is comfortable with his/her product knowledge, he/she must secure a location suitable for comfortable play for team (a classroom would be perfect). The Sponsor will publicized the event. Prior to the event the sponsor will deliver games (1 game per 4 players), and a check equal to food expense to the Coordinator. When the event has conclude the Coordinator shall award games to players who have exhibited exceptional Prosperity game skills. If someone is interested in coordinating a Prosperity Party, please send your request to prosperityparty@funwithwealth.com, and indicate that you was referred by HBCU Connect.com board. Peace and Prosperity Always
