I've been wondering why a man would **** himself just to **** a few people around him for some kind of cause. Who would fight or even die in a cause that won't benefit them. Just think about it.. They have to be some real men to DIE for something that they TRULY TRULY believe in. Just take a looke at some of our leaders. Malcom X and MLK knew their lives and their families lives were at stake but they believed in a cause that will lead black people to civil rights.. Now, I dont want you all to believe that I support **** and all of the killing because I dont.. I just Understand.. I don't condone what **** did..but I understand I don't condone what Bin Laden and them are doing..but I understand Because when a Man or a group of men are in CONTROL its hard for them to let it go.. It's just like if you had a pretty house and a family. You would DIE or **** before you let another man come in there and take everything from you.. This **** is just on a BIGGER level...

**** doesn't solely consist of **** bombings. It's the opposite premise of religion; seize power through dissention.

Ever since 9/11 people have been chanting *America, America* Man, think about what America has been doing for decades.. Stealing, killing, taking peoples land.. *America, America* Those "terrorists" are showing that they arent scared to fight. So basically they are showing that thru their acts. Look at their countries..Iran, Iraq. They are SMALL..but they believe that AMerica keeps F*CKING with them. Once they do something to America. The Media claims that Islam is Bad..Muslims are bad.. Come on man.. N*ggaz don't even know why their going to war for America... *America, America*

I couldn't resist. Just because someone dies for a cause doesn't necessarily mean the cause is worthwhile. The followers of David Koresh burned themselves to death for reasons we still can't figure out today. People die on American streets every day over beefs that nobody can remember weeks later. So the real question is why do people fight? I believe that all people fight for the same things: safety, prosperity, and respect. Everyone has a point that can be justified from their perspective. However, sacrifice is only as powerful as its results. Those who **** Westerners in hopes of defending their way of life are only contributing to its destruction. So although giving your life is courageous, it isn't necessarily honorable. My $0.02. Holla!

i didn't quote him, i think thunderstruck said it something sarcastic about someone not condoning something but understanding it. i don't agree with changeplease's tactlessness but i do see what he's saying. for example, i wouldn't condone someone slapping me in the face but if we were in a heated argument and i just called them out their name, i could understand it. i think understanding behavior is very, very different from excusing behavior. if it wasn't, psychologists would have to spend their time telling people it was okay to cut themselves cause they understand why someone would behave that way. understanding someone's actions is a step towards changing them, i think. whether you agree with the behavior is another topic altogether. that's my opinion on that. i think there a different levels of ****. some of that is subtle, while some is more blatant. i don't think it's right but i don't think the US is exempt.
