Anyone watch Hotel Rwanda or Sometimes In April?
If not basically there was a **** where the Hutu **** close to a million Tutsi's...
Now, If I were in Africa at that time and if I was born Tutsi..I would be screaming Hutu fast as hell..
I don't see why a Tutsi would claim Tutsi knowing they could get ****..
"Sometimes in April" was soooo good. I think they went around asking everyone anyway because the Hutu's had id cards. So they couldn't just go around claiming Hutu.

Do you remember the scene when they went into the School and told the girls that were Hutu get on one side...
Man, if they came to my school asking that sh*t..I would be the first to cliam Hutu...
I watched that movie last week and cried, then I watched it again with my mom like 2 hours later an cried again. That mess is just unbelivable, and Don Cheadle plays the part very well. And like they ^ said you couldn't claim Hutu b/c everybody had 2 carry their cards with them, and if you didn't have the cards they automatically assumed you were trying to hide the fact that you were tutsi. unless you were a kid. I think some of the kids got away with it b/c they had hutu adults who would claim them. but anyways, yeah, the movie was amazing.
i saw Hotel Rwanda. gotta look up the other one. i think it's kinda like folks during Columbine still claiming they were Christian even when someone had died. pride is intensely powerful. i think it overrides fear in some instances.
i saw this movie.
focusedbruh can you get focused and realize you couldn't claim anything besides what you are
but anyways
very powerful film
VERY
it was robbed of oscars
ray got all those oscars
it was a good film but not THAT damn good
hotel rwanda could of at least got ONE damn oscar
but u know how white folks are
they are not gonna award a film that makes the USA and the UN look bad
plus it involves Blacks
