Its funny you brought that up because I was just looking at greek pictures and I seen how people do the same sign differently and I was wondering shouldn't it be like a correct way to do it or some people it seem like they do it sloppy...me it seem like if you work that hard to have a right to put up the sign it seems as if you would have alot of pride about doing it....if that makes sense.
Good question...the fact of the matter is that different chapters or even Sorors throw their pinkies up differently. All I can tell you is that in my chapter we keep our pinkies TIGHT and not an open gap like the first pic. Its really not that big of a deal tho. Regardless WE are STILL the lovely, often IMITATED NEVER DUPLICATED Ladies of ALLLPHA KAPPA ALLLLLLPHA SORORITY INCORPORATEDDDDDD! Need I say more?
That's interesting AKAtude. The sorors in my area usually do the "mouth" version (1st pic). But that stuff does vary from region to region. Some Alphas throw our sign with an extra too. Not my thing, since our sign is symbolic of something. But they have an explanation for it, so I usually am like.. . oh well.
