The radio wakes me from my sleep screaming in my ear
"HAVE YOU MET JESUS?"
have you ....I ask but get no answer
yet te voice decides to tell me how the LORD sees all
I turn it off thinking damn..... i mean darn
if you know that... and other people claim they know that
and those who consider themselves GOD's children his chosen ones know that.............
why aren't we has humble as we should be,
why aren't we as respecttful as we should be?????????
I don't understand how we could live each day trying to justify our wrongs
you claim you saved sanctified in his eyes you claim you follow his will at least that what you be shouti' in yo songs.

the snake spits posion and man isn't perfect
and you think thats the answer to everything, every sin
GOD said fill the earth, so you screw every thing that comes your way
Jesus turned water to wine so you get **** every night
You read every word he said, and follow it right???
But hey, it's GODs word

take a look at yourself
you run from yourself every day
and you think he wants to meet a sorry excuse for
the image of his father?
When all you had to do was follow the rules..
Oh I see you only want him on the days you can get something
worth working for huh?
As long as he sending you undeserved blessing an answering selfish prayers...
he your LORD, SAVIOR, KING
Then you become addicted, its your life source
so when the blessing stop, and your prayers go unanswered
he's saying he gave you free-will, follow his word and you'll survive
but all you hear is, no more bessings
So you on your own and you mess up....
it's his fault for not making a divine intervention on your behalf
you give up on him cause he gave up on you.
so now you own your own making your own path right?
WRONG
it was always your choice,
you gave up way before he did,
as a matter of fact, he never did
and you just let him go, the answer the key, your happiness
so now you search for the way out of all your problems
they keep growing you can't stand it
you can't handle it
you need release
the answer to your trouble your pain.. you search

That was on point. "You run from yourself everyday". That line and several others. That's just a reminder to us though, because we, or at least me, so often forget.
