ARRESTED: Lloyd Banks and Young Buck, members of rapper 50 Cent’s G-Unit, were arrested on felony gun possession charges after performing at Madison Square Garden on the Anger Management 3 tour. They are being held without bail. DROP IT LIKE IT’S HOT: A woman claiming she was drugged and **** by Snoop Dogg and some of his friends after a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live has dropped her lawsuit. DMX Back to Jail Again? by Josh Grossberg Aug 8, 2005, 10:45 AM PT DMX's rap sheet is starting to sound like a broken record. The Grammy-winning hip-hopster was charged Monday with violating the terms of a plea deal he made in the wake of last year's smash hit when he crashed his car through an airport parking gate while high on ****. DMX--whose real name is Earl Simmons--could face a year in the slammer if a judge determines that his bad motoring skills violated the conditions of his original release, according to prosecutors in Queens, New York. The latest trouble dates back to June, 2004 when the 34-year-old Ruff Ryder was collared following a bizarro airport joyride in which he impersonated an FBI agent at Kennedy International Airport and, with the help of a buddy, then allegedly tried to commandeer a bystander's vehicle. DMX ended up pleading guilty in December to driving under the influence of **** and reckless endangerment. He blamed a heavy dose of **** for the shenanigans and received a one-year conditional discharge. He was also handed a fine and had his license suspended. However, just two weeks after he resolved that fiasco, the Grand Champ rapper was nabbed for speeding by New York state troopers who clocked him doing 104 mph in a 65 mph zone near his Westchester County home. While cruising southbound on the Bronx's Major Deegan Expressway the following April, DMX accidentally rammed his Dodge Magnum into a woman's stationary car, causing a chain reaction. The collision subsequently propelled the woman's car into an unmarked police cruise carrying two officers. Luckily, no one was **** in the pile up. Both subsequent auto incidents led the district attorney's office to reevaluate the agreement it cut with Simmons. "In each incident, it is alleged that his driver's license had either been suspended or revoked," Brown said in a statement. "His subsequent actions not only exhibit contempt for the legal system but recklessly endangered the public as well." "The lesson the defendant should now learn is that everyone must be held accountable for their actions and that being a celebrity does not put one above the law." DMX posted $500 bail during a hearing on Monday. His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 11. Reps from the driving-challenged rapper's camp could not be reached for comment Tuesday. However, his attorney, Murray Richman, was quoted as telling the court during Monday's session that the Cradle 2 the Grave star never injured the NYPD officers in the collision and was on his way to visit his wife in the hospital when the accident occurred. Simmons' bad behavior has repeatedly landed him in trouble with the law over the years. In 1999, DMX was busted in his native Yonkers for allegedly roughing up a passing motorist whom DMX claimed attacked his missus. In 2001, Simmons was slapped with a string of charges in upstate New York in connection with a minor traffic violation. After pleading guilty to a misdemeanor account of reckless ****, he spent 15 days in jail and paid a $1,000 fine. The next year also proved to be just as busy for DMX's lawyers. The embattled rap star struck a deal with prosecutors in New Jersey, agreeing to plead guilty to 13 counts of animal cruelty, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia and a fine of $15,000 in return for making a series of public service announcements. Then on Christmas, DMX was busted for failing to signal a lane change and offering cops a phony ID. And in 2003, Simmons was arrested for swearing during a concert in the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Apparently he can't ride in a car anymore, so I guess he's choosing to die.

Two Members of 50 Cent's G-Unit Arrested NEW YORK - Two top-selling rappers were released without bail on Tuesday following their arrest on felony gun possession charges after a concert in Manhattan.
