What's up ya'll? i put this announcement on the other board, a group of people that are gonna be in our class in August and myself have formed an e-mail group and we basically e-mail each other and get to know one another before we get there. We have people from Georgia, Florida, Texas, Philly, New York, Maryland, Ohio and Chicago on it and we would love to have you too. Greeting my Fellow Hamptoniana and Class of Ogre Phi Ogre 13, Let me be the first among many to welcome you all to Hampton Univeristy, "Our Home by the Sea". I just finished my freshmen year at Hampton and I had a GREAT time. Unfortunately I will not be in summer school to see someone of you becasue I will be studying in China for 2 months, but I am sure you all will have a great time. This is a very exciting times in your lives as your prepare for the transition from High School to College. I am sure that you all are counting down the days to the Fall semester starts or for some till Pre College(PC Class of 2004). Hampton is great school, socially, spiritually, culturally and academically. Its not in a bustling city, but its in a place where you can and will be expected to get your work done, so STAY on your academic grind. There are thousands of students who love to be where you are so dont slip up and allow someone to take ur place. Dont believe all the negative things you hear about Hampton. People only hate on Hampton because they want to be here and cannot afford it, so what they do is talk about us, but oh well, when you are on the TOP people are ALWAYS trying to bring you down. What's "Orge" tho :???:

Hampton gives a class name to all of it's incoming freshman. The graduating senior class gives it name to the incomig freshman. This years sniors and freshman are Ogre Phi Ogre VII, the juniors are Quintessence VII I think, My class is Onyx VII, and the freshman class is Ogre Phi Ogre VIII. Meg will correct me if I'm wrong.
