HOnestly it doesn't bother me. It could be of ignorance. When I was working at this precollege program this summer one of my students had on a shirt that read "Future AKA". She said she honestly had no idea what was wrong with her wearing the shirt. Lucky for her one of the counselors is and AKA and explained to her what was wrong.

A sense of entitlement is often a bad thing. Back in the day we could easily remedy that. But thanks to this new processes, and these complaining parents, we might as well fill out the applications and pay for the aspirants ourselves.

Girl yes. I was in the bookstore yesterday and this guy was flirtin with my LS. I told him, "ah, u flirtin wit my line sister huh" and he was like oh, y'all one of them. He looked at her shirt and said imma be one a deez, i mean, not the girls, but the boys. U know we gave him the face and told him please dont say what u are gonna be or gonna do because u dont know. Greek life is a privelege. With these massive acceptance rates, people tend to forget that

As a Student Ambassador this year I heard alot of the freshman students discussing what they plan to "join". I just told them not to go around telling people what organizations they would like to join. I also told them to worry about getting thru their first year of college because that should be their main focus. They also had a Pan hell convocation where each organization came up to discuss the outstanding aspects of their organization. They went over proper protocol, and also things that should not be done such as a non-greek doing a certain organizations call, or cutting an organizations line.... and everything.... I think it really helped them and also other upper- classmen that did not know.
