I've been viewing this part of the hbcuconnect message board and I've seen alot of people come on and ask questions and alot of people get attitudes when someone just wants to know an answer. I can understand if someone is tryin to diss your organization or ask personal things about your pledging process, but alot of times if someone asks something simple, some of yall will get rude and try to go off. Is it really that deep to try to go off on someone over the internet that you dont even know? Do you think thats going to make you appear any smarter or prove your point any more? If you see a post that you don't wanna answer, can't you just skip it? I mean, maybe they really did want the question asked, maybe they really didnt know the answer. I'm pretty sure you didnt know everything about every greek organization. Yahoo! GOOGLES, ASKJEEVES, and MSN might not answer all the questions someone is wanting to know. Maybe they want to ask a member of that organization personally. If you view the index part of the board it says right under the greek forum "Kappas Step...... Sigmas Step.......... Aight........... Whats Really Good.... Ask question about ya Favorite Greek Fam or Rep ya Letters!!" So if they are doing what the description says, why get upset alot of the times when stuff shouldnt be a biggie?

I'm just gonna put it like this. The reason greeks go off is because when you ask a simple question and you are looking of a simple answer, chances are you could have been better off researching for yourself. Asking is ALWAYS, IMO, a last resort. Alot of these individuals weren't just handed information freely. Some simple questions can simply be answered by just going to the orgs. website and finding out yourself. Also, discretion is important. If you have a valid question, send it to that person's PM box. Sometimes there is question that shouldn't be asked and thats when some greeks go off. Alot things are common knowledge. If you don't know, you've got some researching to do. Most of the time, if you just sit back, listen, and observe, you'll learn the information that you need to know. There's really how to go about this. You just gotta go at it and if you get snapped at, learn from what happened and stay on your grind for info. There is a website and a book for many things that you need to know (or what your only supposed to know) out there. The hunt for info is a learning process. You just gonna learn how to deal with the many obstacles and hurdles it brings. Getting snapped at on the internet is a hell of alot better than letting it happen out in the real world in public. When inquirers(sp) ask you day in and day out the same redundant (sometimes moronic) questions, wouldn't you get a bit annoyed?

but dont u agree tryin to snap on someone on the internet is stupid. in a way, u make yourself look bad and since you're reppin an organization are are slick making them look bad. alot of times high school students come on and ask and I mean dang, they in high school. Maybe they didnt know about discretion. The whole point of this post is some things you shouldnt even let get to you like that. You see what the whole topic is about in the topic sentence. If you know its going to make you mad or get you annoyed, why even click to read it, better yet reply to it?
I thank u for answering my question though in a mature way. I wont be surprised if someone tries to get an attitude in my post.
when have u seen me post on here before? I made 1 post on her about high school organizations. why waste my time going through 100s of pages to see this question? I'm sure the people who ask questions about "which organization should they join" didnt know something was wrong with it because if they did, Im sure they wouldnt ask the question. Like I stated at first, if you dont agree with a post, if you dont like whats said in a post, why do you even reply? Let it go. You are one of the main people I'm talking about. MY question must not have been to mindless, hey, it got your attention and you replied to it!
HAHAHAHA!!
oh lord, her head's started spinning around again. I'd better call the priest... good points tho...

"some"..not all but "some" people are ticking time ****. I'm usually really careful about what I ask or say on here
right
i said some
some are actually really really nice but its some that are sooo plastic. I mean u can just tell how they come at people on here. WOW! It takes a real person to pick a fight with someone over the internet. REAL TALK, I think they wouldnt jump at 95% of the people they try to on here if they were face to face. The internet is a way for people to front on some serious stuff.
real off subject...
u from memphis right, u goin to see d4l and pretty ricky? haha
