So...
My application is up for review.. it has been that way for the past month. She said the reason was because i didn't meet the minimum requirements for the College of Arts and Sciences. I called back to ask how she said i was 50 points below on the SATs Scores, but my GPA is high (3.7)
OH and my essay was REALLY GOOD
She said there is a chance i can be denied admission to Howard University. I have two options.
(1) Take the SAT again
(2) Attend Hampton or the other colleges i've been accepted to.
At the moment ignorant comments aren't going to get me through the day so please if you have any suggestions or comments, personal life stories, i dunno, please HELP me.
What really helped me is to sit down and really think about what I want to do ....You have a lot of options open to you but if its really in your heart to go to Howard then take the SATS over .....If you're just doing it just to sit if you'll get in but dont really wanna go there...why waste your time or theirs. Is Howard your 1st choice?

Well then theres your answer--you have to retake the SAT. Dont settle for hampton :x

i agree dont settle for hampton (it is a great school) but if howard is your first choice go there one way or another. cause howard was my first choice back in high school but i didn't apply cause i thoguht i wouldn't get in. so i waited and now im transferrin there this spr 06 semester. so if its meant to be it'll happen. trust me put it in the lord's hands and all things are possible. oh and take them SAT's ova! peace...hope i helped....

Daya ... did you get that message I sent you on MySpace? ... if so you know that Hampton did that EXACT same thing to me but Spelman diddnt lol ... just stay on the grind and you will do fine ... shoot Re-take the SAT if thats what they want ... because I did .. dont look at this negativly ( because I did and I was heated) lol just keep doing what you do and complete all the little tasks they want you to do becuase .. who knows it may just be a test for them to SEE how much you WANT HU...
