This website has helped me so much over the past year. Everyone on here really inspires me because where I come from, there aren't a lot of Black people doing good for themselves. Most of them are just going a long with every sterotype in the book. I just want you guys to know that I appreciate you and look up to you. You have all been role models for me. This is for HBCU students and prospects. Its not easy doin the whole college thing but yall are definetly pulling it off and it helped me because it lets me know Im not alone in wanting to be a successful person of color. And when someone says to me "The only reason you got into Hampton is because you're black." Then I know exactly how to respond to that because of the things I learned here. (By the way this non SAT-taking asshole that said this is headed for community college next year) So pretty much just keep doing what you are doing, I wish you all the best of luck and for everyone trying to bring you down just remember there is always someone looking up to you. So please keep me in prayer as I go to Hampton (got accepted) or Spelman (still waiting) -Dont care if you reply...as long as you read.
