AFTER GETTING ALL YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTERS, WHAT FACTORS DETERMINED WHICH SCHOOL U CHOSE? IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT *STOOD OUT* OR WAS SO SPECIAL ABOUT ONE OF THE SCHOOLS THAT YOU GOT ACCEPTED TO THAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GO THERE?

To be truthfull honest, my senior year was really difficult for me, I went through alot. I only applied to 3 schools. Two PW and one HBCU. I went to the HBCU who accepted me. I'm glad I did!!

PV offered me more money, out of state fee waiver, free summer school and the dorms are waaaay better than other schools I looked at. I think I'm happy where I am.

Well i chose TSU cause it's close enuff 2 my fam in case of serious emergencies n it's n H-town. I'd be able to stay n a on-campus apartment n i have a cuz that works there n 1 that goes there. So i have enuff fam on campus n case i needed them. Unlike @ PV if i were to go, my gram lives up the road(literally) plus my aunties live up the road. All 50 of my first cousins go there. I have 2 many ppl i kno that go to PV. So i chose the next best thing.

I've had uncles, aunts, cousins, and my mom to go and finish at NSU...so naturally I chose to attend too.

Someone's got to recognize Medgar Evers College in NY as an HBCU...hmmm...that someone will be me! I chose it because it's one of the few college in NY that offer a business program (business meaning learning to get money by making others work 8) ) but i soon hope to transfer to a Down South school. Norfolk State is looking like my future home. MEC! MEC! MEC!

hear about it. liked what i heard. the name spoke for itself. Some people also helped me to decide. then there is the fact that i wanted to get away. be in a warmer environment and make friends from all over. The history of the school was very creditable. Everyone who went there or was still in the school seemed very proud. My first choice acted like they were not interested so I replied to a school that seemed like they really cared. then the other school told me they wanted me but my mind was already made up by then. aight one.

I don't know what made me decide on "Da House." I had been accepted to UAB and FAMU, and Morehouse was never a part of my list. But some of my teachers talked me into applying. I applied, got accepted.....with a scholarship, so I went. Honestly, I can't see myself going anywhere else.

My college decision was a last minute decision. I was supposed to go to Clark but they started having problems simular to Morris Brown's but not as bad and my mother said that she didn't want me going there so I had to go with what school was still offering me money so I ended up at Shaw U.
