This is going to be a banner year for Black College Athletics. There are some great matchups this season including, but not limited to: NCCU vs Albany State. . .two defending champions and highly ranked Division II powers. Hampton vs Grambling . . .two defending champions and highly ranked Division I-AA powers WSSU vs NC A & T - WSSU begins its transition to IAA with longtime rival and at one time bitter rivals NC A & T. NCCU vs Shaw - The last two CIAA champions meet in Durham. Shaw hired three of NCCU's former coaches, and NCCU knocked off Shaw last year in their designated home game at our stadium. Delaware State vs Hampton - Delaware State, the last HBCU to beat Hampton has them back at home; with the chance to determine their own destiny. Jackson State vs Tennessee State - Jackson State has an early chance to prove that hiring Rick Comegy was a great move. Ft. Valley State vs Tuskegee - Ft. Valley's coach is one of the few SIAC coaches to defeat Tuskegee while he was at Shaw. Norfolk State vs Virginia State - Little State is on the come up and are looking for revenge after losing to Big State two consecutive years. Prairie View vs Southern - after years of languishing on the bottom of the BCF totem pole, PVAM appears to be on the rise. They get Southern in Texas and aim to knock off the perennial BCF powers. Hampton vs SC State - acting as nemesis for the past two years, Hampton has singlehandedly eliminated the Bulldogs from playoff contention. JCSU vs Edward Waters - JCSU has the opportunity to break "the streak" Tuskegee vs Albany State - Tuskegee's All-World quarterback, Kevin Huff and his tigers get their perennial nemesis at home, in a game that will probably determine the SIAC champion. Bowie State vs NC Central - the bulldogs finally get the eagles in bowie, where they hope to avenge three straight losses, including the CIAA championship game Other classics/rivalry games of note: FAMU vs BCC Grambling vs Southern AAMU vs ASU ASU vs Tuskegee FAMU vs Tenn. State Central State vs Kentucky State Ft. Valley vs Albany State Howard vs Hampton Hampton vs Norfolk State Jackson State vs Alcorn State Morehouse vs Tuskegee Prairie View vs Grambling VUU vs Va. State I can't wait.

I can't believe that you forgot about Southern v. JSU. That's going to be a classic game on the field and in the stands.
