Fellas answer me this? Posted on 12-22-2006

My friend was like some guy at her job liked me. She was like I told him you're a good girl and all this stuff, and he still wants to talk to you. So I'm like no, at first because I didn't want to talk to anybody really; but she gave him my email address so he wrote me a couple emails. And he was like is it true that you haven't been touched. And I was like yeah, He was like wow you're a dying breed. Which brings me to my question because I'm think that men that are virgins are extinct, and young men with out children are on their way to extinction too. So guys tell me if I'm wrong, or if I'm right? And for those of you who are not virgins, which I am sure there are many, do you ever wish you wouldn't have gave it up so soon?

A male losing his virginity is a technicality and not nearly as sacred as a woman losing hers... A male who is a virgin between 18 and 20 years old probably is going to be more and more of a rarity, since males hormones go crazy at about the age of 14... I've never heard a guy say they regretted losing their virginity (unless they got an STD)... But we all know women that regret it...

I think it is just as sacred, but many times alot of parents dont present it to their male children the same as they do for their female children.

I agree. I was told that there are "some men who are still virgins by circumstance and not by choice". Is that a true statement? What is so terrible about being male and being a virgin as an adult?

I agree with Pretty boy blue, I think that virginity is sacred whether you are a male or a female. Parents, along with society has given men the impression that being a virgin makes them less of a man. And it's sad to think that it's this way. Far as regretting losing your virginity I have met plenty of girls who regret losing it the way they did because it wasn't special and they felt sad that they did not value their gift from God. As far as men with kids go you never know, guys say they don't have kids and after you're in the relationship here comes one of his baby mommas calling.

I guess let me rephrase my point... Yea it is just as "sacred" being that we're all equal in the fact that we we all virgins at one time, but MENTALLY I don't think men in general (even if you give them a nice talk) will FEEL as though their virginity is something sacred. MOST guys are trying to lose that tag as soon as they have their first wet dream... Then on the female side, they just have more to lose and their feelings about the before and after is much more complicated than men (or boys for that matter)... Lesson of the day, women, hold on to it! Guys, well try your best

To make it simple and plain...there is always the double standard. Women at an early age are taught that their virginity is sacred. Women are taught early that the ONE thing they have control over is their P*ssy. Men are this or that but when it comes down to it women have the upper hand because of the desire to get p*ssy. Now men, we are taught early to chase p*ssy. To obtain cars, clothes, whatever...sweet talk...to get p*ssy. So, the value of keeping our virginity is nothing...Women think about how long they gonna keep it, men think about how soon they can lose it!
